Pressure Vessels (ASME)

All pressure vessels are available in any material including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and reactive/exotic metals. Our engineering staff can design your tank to withstand internal pressure to 15,000 psi and full vacuum. Seismic, snow and wind loads can also be applied. Heat transfer, insulation, and agitation can be added on nearly any design.

Lift and Dumping Equipment

Custom Metalcraft specializes in custom sanitary equipment to safely lift, rotate, pivot, and invert (dump) any type of bin, buggy, vat or container. Our designs feature receivers designed for multiple containers, multiple dump heights, low ceiling clearance, high dump angles, as well as pivot points (slew), automatic operation (PLC), and integrated safety mechanisms.

Our Story

BUILDING AN INDUSTRY LEADER

On November 1, 1977, Jerry Cowan and Dwayne Holden officially founded Custom Metalcraft, Inc., and were joined shortly thereafter by engineer Gerald Glass. Initially they took on virtually any metal fabrication job they could and built a reputation for specializing in small process tanks and unusual material handling equipment, establishing Custom Metalcraft as an industry leader.

Over the years Custom Metalcraft has been awarded thirty-seven proprietary US and foreign
patents, and our equipment lines involve a standard design that can be “customized” to fit the most exacting requirements.

Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)

The TranStore® intermediate bulk container is the most advanced liquid handling tank in the market today.

Each Custom Metalcraft TranStore tank meets or exceeds all Intermediate Bulk Container requirements, per Title CFR49 of the Hazardous Material Guide.
Common design approvals include UN31A and UL142. Additionally, TranStore IBCs meet NFPA “Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code” NFPA 30 section 9.4.1 (1).
