Custom Metalcraft specializes in custom sanitary equipment to safely lift, rotate, pivot, and invert (dump) any type of bin, buggy, vat or container. Our designs feature receivers designed for multiple containers, multiple dump heights, low ceiling clearance, high dump angles, as well as pivot points (slew), automatic operation (PLC), and integrated safety mechanisms. Your equipment can be made to handle standard items such as meat buggies and vats, and also off-the-shelf items such as plastic tubs, cardboard boxes, fiber drums, and barrels. Receivers can be designed for any shape of container, from round, square, hexagonal, or for containers that require special lifting apparatuses such as forks, flat platforms, hooks, or clamps. All this can be mated up with your existing operations.

Our engineering department has experience in designing receivers for thousands of containers with Column Lifts. Our lifts can handle standard items such as meat buggies and vats, and also off-the-shelf items such as plastic tubs, cardboard boxes, fiber drums and barrels. Receivers can be designed for any shape of container, from round, square and hexagonal, or for containers that require special lifting apparatuses such as forks, flat platforms, hooks or clamps. Receivers can also be designed with live (roller) bottoms to adapt to existing conveyors.

SEAL, PIVOT & DUMP

Customer container and the equipment are engineered to seal together so no product is lost, and a hopper spout can direct material to destination.

TUB DUMPER

A tub dumper is a floor-standing single pivot dumper offering 135 degree rotation. We offer sanitary design with a tapered chute to assist with controlled discharge.

DRUM DUMPER

Stationary and portable units allow workers to safely empty drums into carts or other containers.

BUGGY DUMPER

Lift and dump sanitary carts, vats and tubs safely at heights greater than ten feet. Portable or fixed mount designs.

V-MAG VAT INVERTER

A hydraulic single pivot dumper to accommodate a variety of containers, including safety features to prevent accidental fallback of the container.

DEPALLETIZER

Custom design to accept palleted gaylord boxes and lift, rotate and dump into another container or process. Stationary front loading design with special drop bottom and pallet retraction system to keep pallet out of food contact areas.

COLUMN LIFT

Our Column Lifts can be specially designed to achieve any specific height or transfer sequence. Receiver can be sized to meet any specific container. All Column Lifts fabricated for sanitary service are constructed using USDA & FDA accepted designs and finish standards. When required all welds are ground smooth and flush, the receivers are designed to minimize crevices and decrease cleaning time.

DRUM MANIPULATOR

Custom designed overhead mounted equipment to grab, move, rotate and dump industrial drums, barrels and other containers.

Pivot Dumpers are not only a cost effective method of dumping products, but one of the easiest systems for operators to use. Our standard control packages include emergency stops (E-stop) and momentary up/down switches. Optional limit/positioning switches and automatic operation can be integrated into the operator control package.

Dumping requirements for areas that are not floor level loading pose unique challenges to the design and construction of each dumper. Custom Metalcraft fabricates Dumpers to your specifications to include frames and elevated platforms for fork truck or crane loading. Dumpers can also be fitted with open receivers for ease of cleaning, and with our optional pallet retractor for keeping unclean pallets away from product zones.

All Pivot Dumpers can be designed to be portable, with locking casters, fork channels, drag/push bars and remote connections for utilities. All Pivot Dumpers fabricated for sanitary service are constructed using accepted USDA and FDA design and finish standards. When required, all welds are ground smooth and flush and the receivers are designed to minimize crevices and decrease cleaning time.

Drum Dumpers can be designed for maximum portability and use in almost any environment. Push/drag bars, casters, fork channels and crane hooks can be specified as option for any size. Dumpers can also include adjustable height stops for a variety of containers. Lift power can be supplied with a pneumatic system (standard), hydraulic or electric power.
