Silver Package Features
In addition to Standard Features, Silver packages include:- 1” 304 Stainless Steel triclamp style sampling valve with guard installed in tank shell to 1” triclamp connection (includes clamp and gasket)
- Thermowell, ½” NPT connection, 7½” insertion length, 0.260” bore
- 2” 304 SS weld ferrule (triclamp style) installed in tank shell for racking
- Dimpled jacket on one side of tank
- Side Manway, Rectangular, 17-5/16” x 13”, outward opening, 304 SS, EPDM gasket, dual arms with single wing nut style closure
Standard Features
- 10 ga top, shell and bottom 304 stainless steel construction, 2B finish on interior & exterior (Tanks 300 Gallon tanks and smaller have 12 ga. shell material)
- Interior & exterior welds to have heat tint removed
- 22½” dia. top fill opening with drum cover and 2” connection (triclamp style) installed in center of cover, white food grade gasket and stainless steel lever lock style clamp ring assembly
- Extended drum neck for complete filling, eliminating head space
- ½” patented sloped bottom for complete drainage
- 2” 90 deg elbow (triclamp style) in the tank bottom for discharge with protective guard
- Four (4) leg positioners/lifting lugs on the top of the tank for lifting and stacking 550 gallon tanks and smaller on top of each other (up to three high, full or empty). Tanks larger than 650 gallons cannot be stacked nor moved when full.
- Four (4) legs providing 9” clearance
- Spanish/English tank decals
- Tank is designed for use with a fork truck or pallet jack and has three-way access (Pallet jack use requires 2x4 to bridge distance from tank bottom to pallet jack)
- Data tag providing serial and model number

This equipment has a one year limited warranty which covers material and workmanship. Users are responsibile to train their employees in the proper handling and labeling of this portable tank and it's contents, and to ensure product compatibility with the materials of construction.
This equipment has been cleaned with cleaning agents and may have residue left in the unit. Please check the unit carefully before filling. Final cleaning may be required.

FAQ
Are these tanks in stock?
Most TranStore Wine, Beer and Spirits Tanks ("Beverage Tanks") listed on this website are almost always in-stock and expected to ship within 1 week. We are constantly producing these tanks to ensure availability.
However, during peak demand, you may catch us in between a production cycle but more inventory should become available within 1-3 weeks. If we notice your order will be delayed, we will contact you with an updated lead time. You will have the option to cancel your order if lead time becomes an issue.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Assuming the tanks are used according to use they are designed for, these tanks are warrantied for a period of 1-year from date of purchase.
What is the difference between Bronze, Silver and Gold packages?
Each standard Beverage Tank has a 2B interior and exterior finish with heat tint removed from interior and exterior welds. The standard top opening is a 22 1/2" diameter drum cover style lid with clamp style connection (not threaded), which fastens with a steel lever lock clamp ring assembly and a white food grade gasket. All Beverage Tanks have a sloped bottom to aid in complete drainage and clamp-style discharge connection (not threaded) in the tank bottom. Each tank has positioners/lifting lugs in the top corners and legs providing with 9" of clearance. Every Beverage Tank is fork liftable (from 3 directions) as standard design. The first upgrade tier is called Bronze. All the standard features mentioned above apply, in addition to the following. Bronze package Beverage Tanks also include a sample valve, thermowell, racking ferrule and one side of dimple heat transfer jacketing. See more details under "Bronze Package Features" section.
The second upgrade tier is called Silver. All of the standard and Bronze features apply, in addition to a Rectangular Side Manway in the lower portion of the side of the tank. See more details under the "Silver Package Features" section.
All the listed Beverage Tanks are also available with an Upgraded Top Manway. Instead of the standard round drum cover style top opening with clamp ring, the tank has a round hinged manway with four handwheel lugs, which some users prefer. This hinged lid has the same clamp-style inlet connection, installed off-center. See picture.

Are these tanks sanitary?
You will have to determine if a tank fits your sanitary requirements. That said, nearly all of our Beverage Tanks use clamp-style fittings instead of threaded fittings.
Are these tanks UN/DOT certified for over-the-road transport?
This tank is not labeled for over-the-road transportation of regulated materials. Call or contact us here if you need UN/DOT certified tanks.
How are they shipped?
All Beverage Tanks ordered directly from Custom Metalcraft's website are shipped via UPS Freight.
Can I arrange my own shipping?
Presently, we do not allow customers to arrange their own freight for tanks purchased online. We ship so many tanks annually, it is likely our UPS Freight shipping rates are as competitively as are available.
What if my tanks are damaged during shipping?
Great question. It is very important you inspect each tank as soon as it arrives while the driver is still present. IMPORTANT: Any shipping damage must be noted at the time of delivery. Otherwise, you are far less likely to reach a resolution for shipping damages. It is also a good idea to take pictures. A UPS tracking number should be emailed to you when your tanks ship, so you can ensure you are present when your tanks arrive, or arrange a delivery time that works for you.
Are these tanks stackable?
TranStore Beverage Tanks which are 550 gallon sizes or less are stackable up to three high, full or empty. Beverage Tanks sizes 750 and greater use a different base size so will not stack with smaller sizes. Tanks larger than 650 size are not to be stacked or moved when full.
Do I need fork tubes to move tanks with a fork lift?
All TranStore Beverage Tanks are fork-liftable standard, without the need for fork tubes. The only reason you would need to customize a Beverage Tank with fork tubes is if you intend to invert or tilt the tank. Tanks larger than 650 gallons cannot be moved when full.
